My artistic practice focuses on the aesthetic investigation of the stylised representation of the female form. The sculptures I create are designed to be both organic and tactile. The tactility is not only present in the finished product but also in all stages of the making of the piece. I create my sculptural work using a variety of ceramic materials which provide a broad range of surface textures to be experienced by the viewer. The individual nature of my ceramic pieces is achieved through manipulation of pre-formed structures. This ensures that each sculpture is truly individual.
